The school runs many extra-curricular activities. Mrs Crossland organises a Science club for children one lunchtime per week. We also have an ICT Club on Tuesdays (after school).

Cuckney School has a strong sporting ethos. We believe that children can improve their confidence and self-esteem through the many sporting activities that are on offer within the school. In terms of the curriculum, we have professional sports coaches who come into the school on a daily basis. All children up to year 3 also take part in swimming through the academic year. At school,  we have the following sports clubs;

In January 2009, the Year 6 cricket team took part in the Bassetlaw Indoor Cricket Competition at the North Notts Arena. The team, captained by Jack Cook won their first game comfortably, but lost the next and finished runners-up.
